Woodriver Elementary School is proud of our students with family members serving in the military!

Nineteen percent (19%) of Woodriver Elementary student body is comprised of military-connected students. We have Woodriver families that are serving on active-duty at Eielson AFB and Fort Wainwright, AK Air Guard and National Guard, and DoD personnel at Eielson AFB and Fort Wainwright.

We also have a number of Military Retirees and Veteran families!

Free tutoring for U.S. Military Families, funded by the U.S. Department of Defense Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) General Library Program, and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA), is a program that provides on-demand, online tutoring and homework help to eligible service members, civilian personnel, and their dependents.
